Isola2000 is a station of high altitude (2000 Mr.) located at 1:20 of the Riviera, which ensures a rare snowing up and a sunning to him. It is built in the Parc of Mercantour , at the border Italian, which ensures an exceptional natural environment to him. So it is a famous station of ski the winter with its 42 tracks out of 120 kms. and its 20 ski lifts, and an excellent starting point of the excursions in summer. The road which crosses Isola2000 goes up to the Collar of Lombardic (2,350 Mr.) and goes down again to Italy. During summer, it is very pleasant to leave the apartment on foot, to go up to the collar (10 minutes by car) and to follow the path of great excursion which follows the peak and dominates the valleys on each side of the border. The fauna and the flora of this National park are remarkable. In September, you can find blueberries and raspberries. => The Isola2000 Tourist Office organizes numerous activities during the summer - Mountain biking with several levels of difficulty, - hiking, - animal watching (chamois, ibexes and marmots), - riding.. ... and festive evenings... It provides numerous facilities: - trempolines, - tennis, - hand-ball and volleyball, - playgrounds for children aso.....
